Suction cups loose suction over time and could fail, causing the piece to fall and possibly be damaged.

Dish soap mixed with warm water and a soft cotton or microfiber cloth can be used to clean the glass.

You can also apply a small amount of car wax or furniture polish, such as pledge, to give the glass a nice shine. Apply with a cotton or microfiber cloth, then buff clean.
